In a year filled with challenges and uncertainties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Continental Siding Supply stood out as a shining example of resilience and community support. We are so proud that the Independence Chamber of Commerce named us the 2020 Business of the Year for our outstanding contributions and dedication to the local community. 

Prioritizing Volunteerism During Challenging Times

At Continental Siding Supply, charitable efforts are at the heart of our business philosophy. The pandemic did not hinder our commitment to giving back. Instead, under Alec Cook’s leadership, we embraced a “100 Days of Giving” program from the outset of the stay-at-home order, leading by example with significant donations and vital assistance to those in need.

Making a Positive Impact on the Community

Our charitable initiatives, such as supporting City Union Mission with a $10,000 donation, providing 30,000 meals to Harvesters, and assisting single mothers in need, reflect our determination to be part of the solution during challenging times. Additionally, our staff received pay bonuses and “someone in need” bonuses, fostering a culture of generosity and compassion within our company.
