Continental Siding Owner Alec Cook Featured Among Ingram’s “40 Under Forty” Winners
Jun 03, 2021
Continental Siding owner Alec Cook has come a long way since he first walked into Continental Siding for an interview as a full-time college student looking for a part-time job as a door-to-door canvasser. After countless promotions over the next five years, he acquired 100 percent ownership of the company in 2019. As a member of the 2021 class of Ingram’s “40 Under Forty,” Continental Siding founder Jerry O’Neal took this opportunity to formally announce that Alec Cook is the new owner of Continental Siding.
As a member of the 2021 class of Ingram’s “40 Under Forty,” Alec was able to reflect on his quick rise to the owner of Continental Siding. Alec received his first major promotion at the age of 27 when he was promoted to GM of the entire company and he began to join Jerry on TV commercials just two years later.
Since Alec Cook became Jerry’s first-ever business partner in 2017, Continental Siding has earned countless awards from Angi, the Better Business Bureau, the Independence Economic Development Council. and Chamber of Commerce, and Truman Heartland Community foundation for business and philanthropic efforts.
One of the ways in which Alec Cook differentiates himself from many other local business owners is the amount of pride he takes in giving back to the local community. From day one, Continental Siding has been focused on meeting the needs of all Kansas City homeowners. Under the ownership of Alec Cook, that potential is continuing. Above all else, Continental Siding is committed to helping local residents love their homes and helping employees love what they do for a living.
One of Alec Cook’s core values is that he cares much more about how we do business than how much business we do, which is why we think it’s safe to say that Continental Siding is in great hands and will allow Continental Siding to continue to be an example to the rest of the community.
